How our cats are raised

The cats from birth are raised in household noise. They are socialized from birth and they are free roaming cats. We feed them "Purina one plus kitten food", which we found out that it helps with there growth, helps with picky eaters, it also carries high protein that the cats need. We give them lots a space for running around and lots of toys to keep them entertained.

Grooming

One thing that is very important about these cats are that they need to be groomed constantly. This means brushing their hair because they have a three layer coat, these coats are needed because it keeps them warm, dry, and colder. Shedding these coats help them keep the temperature which is best for them, brushing makes it easier for the cats.

Nail health is also important to keep an eye on, this is because the nails grow fast. Cat scratching post help with the cats nail health, it also keeps them entertained. We check their nails once a week. Polydactyly's nails can be more difficult because they have less room for the nail to grow, so that means it can curl and you don't want that.

Scammers

When looking for a pure bred Maine coon, you will come across scammers. They will ask for money deposits and if they don't let you see that cats in person that is a big red flag. With are business, we will let you see the cat before you buy it, we ask for the money on the day of pick up. Even kitten of ours come with a folder of the kittens shot recorded and the parents pedigree.

Maine coons are the largest domestic cat breeds! They are known as "gentle giants" because of how friendly they are. The average height for females are 8-14 inches and males are 10-16 inches and the average weight is 8-17 pounds for a female and for a male its around 20-25 pounds.

Raising cat in socialized environment helps them be more outgoing and more playful. It also helps them not have behavior problems in the future, which means it will be more friendly and easier to handle. It is also believed to be more healthier, it also provides mental stimulations.
